What started as a mockup for a new quest idea has become a complete tileset mod with psychedelic colors. In addition, the silk headband has been replaced by a Ninja Mask, the coinbag has been replaced by a Mana Seed (part of my quest idea), Flowers are now Magic Flowers (with fire attack), and Evil Mushrooms are now White Mouboos.

You can play this tripped out mod by downloading this zip and placing it (still zipped) in ~/.tmw/customdata/ or C:\Documents and Settings\(your user name)\.tmw\customdata.

Edit: Link changed to new version with extra mods for NPCs, equipment, monsters. This one has monsters in places you wouldn't expect to see them.

Anyone remember playing a game for the original gameboy, on the gameboy color, and screwing with the colors by pressing a button and an arrow at the logo screen? That's what this reminded me of.

I simply loved this hack. It's wonderful. I hope these monsters will be implemented soon in the real game, they look very interesting

The "Magic Flower" monster is not finished yet, but I do have a quest idea that it will be needed in. I'll post the entire quest, maps and all, when it's done. AFAIK, the Mouboo is still being finished but can be expected soon (someone correct me if I'm wrong).

well what if you want to go back to normal? how do you change back?

Remove or delete the zip from your customdata.

Or just change the file extension from .zip to something else. That way you can reactivate it easily.

sometimes on winxp the data just implements into the game and disappears, rendering an undiong by that method impossible.

any suggestions, other than re dling the client?
