Hi i will tell you about the TMW animals.Each week i will tell you about a new animal,
lets start with mouboos today.
There are two groups of mouboos:Forest mouboo and Mountain mouboo.
mountains Mouboos are very social animals. They live in flocks with circa 5 individuals. Their biggest enemy is themselves.
The males are getting wild under the mating season. If two males are trying to seduce the same female they will fight. A mouboo can weigh up to 3000 ibs and reach a max speed of 45 km/h.The two proposers will rush towards eachother and headbutt.The one with the weakest frontal bone will die of the collision. But this would result in inbreeding so when the young males are 6 years old they leave the flock and are trying to find a new one.Mountain mouboos base food are grass.

Forest mouboos are living alone in the woods. They are much smaller then the mountain mouboos but faster.
Their base food is leaves from loww bushes.The only enemy they got is the human.

Today we are going to talk about mushrooms.
The two species evil mushrooms and spiky mushrooms can not mate.The spiky mushrooms are quite peaceful and don't attack in less if they feel threaten. If they attack they will use their puwerful jaws and bite. A bite can disintegrate a arm in a few seconds. There is just one known case of a spikymushroom attack so there is no need to fear when you walk in the woods.
Spikey mushrooms eat old plan parts because they are saphrophytes.Spiker mushrooms prefer to be alone and they only meet others when its matingseason.The females chooses the male with the largest spikes, he is the one who will protect her babys.The male stays until the children are 4 months old and are ready to collect food themself.

Evil mushrooms are omnivores they can even hunt for meat if needed. These ones are dangerous,To chew meat they need even stronger jaws than the spiky mushroom. They live in big packs with up to 25 mushrooms.The males defends the females.As quick as any animal aproches the group they will attack.When the food is out thay can also attack farms and eat their crop.

Today I'm going to talk about maggots.
Maggots are small insects that lives in the desert.They are hermaphrodites which means that they have two sexes.If two maggots meat under the mating season they will exchange sperms with each other. The maggots lay their eggs later underneath cabbage leaves. When the eggs hatches they got plenty of food to eat.The small maggots eats in 5 days and this food will reach whole their life.
This life circle can be devastating for the poor people who produce cabbage.

They got one bigger relative. The GIANT MAGGOT.
These maggots lives out in the desert and don't harm humans in any way.They feed on sand worms (small worms living out in the desert, look at the picture lower down)
The giant maggots are hermaphrodites too but they got a other method.When they have exchanged sperms with another individual they search for days after a sand worm nest. The maggot will lay its egg there and the sand worms will provide the small ones with food when they have hatched.
