Hi all,

it's not a real bug, but a thing like this ;)

is it possible, that the spamprotect make to ignores spells?

I trained magic today and so repeated spells fast - now i have been banned a time XD.
I was in cave alone so nobody can be punished from my training ...

The spamprotection is a very good thing, but in this situation ... ;)

Last time there was a warning before ban - today not.

It's not so nice, but ok - i will learn of this

Technical details:

Chat spam is only checked if not magic_message.

Packet spam for chat packets (which includes magic) threshhold is 300 ms. Anything faster than that will get dropped and increment the counter.

If the counter exceeds battle_config.packet_spam_flood (currently 30) within a period of battle_config.packet_spam_threshold [sic] (currently 2 seconds), the client is kicked.

Unlike the chat spam, this is just a kick, not a ban.

Oh, ok - and in my case can not log in to the server with the massage that i'm banned

So i was very fast in training? - 300ms and that 30 times if i understan right? - WOW XD

No i not died before, but if you say so - after spells like manpahil or gole I need a time to do an other spell ... maybe it's cause of this - so the fast other spells are in the chattab ...
idk i don't see this - i only see if the spell is working on my char, nothing else ...

I think I know what you mean...
Even with "buggy servers protection" enabled some spells have a too small time out, which causes a KICK out of server. But KICK, and not BAN.

I was banned circa 1 h - The Client said it to me the moment i want to relog. - Is this a Kick out?

1 hour is a ban... you had to use wrong tab or was dead.

I made a mistake i can not absolut define but nearly with your help - the absolut way is not to reconstruct.
The 1 h ban was not so hard and i lerned of it maybe also players read this - not tipp to fast (also spells XD)

So I think this can closed ;)
