From what I understood, I could remove asorm overnight and only mages use betsanc, but in rare cases you need betsanc on runners or to rush past certain maps. If you really want to purge detsanc, I think the only way to do it is to eliminate all spell penalties that are cast on others(they have no choice), which of course means something else has to change because everyone will always want a betsanc, which is why the speed penalty was included, I assume. ...

Yes, upmarmu is the issue here. we're trying to change game even more by conserving this OP spell. Attack upmarmu as I said in IRC. It is the only big issue ATM. As I said in IRC, I would love to see brawler skill made better to include def bonuses and am ok with speeding it up a bit more than speed...

Please consider changing the penalty to crit-rate and/or accuracy instead of aspd. I sneered at this at first, but it's actually a great idea. Most ppl use betsanc to run through the bad places. I could've guessed that since agi is the most universally useful stats in the game. I would disregard those comments, but is it possible to have a revert on the betsanc penalty, while allowing con pots to increase speed a bit?

As far as I'm aware, betsanc has never slowed actual magic attacks down, though it would slow down physical attacks like the staff and wand when used in a physical manner. Am I wrong? Don't rely on M+ attack delay. It is ignored for magic, I believe.

That's an expected and understandable response. It would be good to hear some others chime in and though it isn't an argument, but a reminder, you would still be able to sit and listen to that track, but it would be just outside the town gates.

Yes, it is a single track designed to be for music, but of course that music can just be an ambience track. The places that are only ambience or silence are welcoming, so that things like sitting in town or the store doesn't keep playing the same song. The sewers, fireplaces and the big one in debat...
