Re: SFX licensing and authoring
Unless things have changed a great deal lately all of the sound effects are by me. As was said previously all contributions to the project are under the GPL so there should be no problem as long as your project is too. If you want to do a different license I'm sure something could be arranged for th...

Re: Sound Makers (not music)
Would it be worth it to have some sort of upload site for suggested sounds, BGs, etc? Not just a forum, I'm talking a user-dev page specifically for uploading your own content as a resource for perhaps the TMW team to integrate if they so choose... You can upload sound effects to your wiki page in ...

[wip] Location Based Sound
Finally I have gotten around to doing something again. Here is a boiling water sound, I am hoping that it can be used as a location based sound for the boiling water in the snow area. Be warned that the volume is rather loud, if I need to it is easy to lower it for the final product. http://wiki.the...

Re: Wikipedia article about TMW.
It being pre-alpha means the following (based on Wikipedia description): Lots of features are missing, there are billions of bugs because of it cannot become alpha yet, no-one can not play it yet, all "players" are barely testers and the developement might be cancelled at any moment. You ...

Re: Sound Makers (not music)
Lecter welcome to TMW. I have most recently been the one working on sound effects. Unfortunately I have been busy for the last few months (Moved across the state, got a new job, ....) It would be great to have someone else working on sounds. I have kept the wiki up to date when new sounds are added,...

This is great. It should really help me with developing sound fx.
One bug I noticed is that MP and HP are switched in item viewer.

This is a great start. I found the high hat and snare drum sound were too loud in the mix. The lead line could probably be mixed a little quieter since it is background music. I think that this might fit well with one of the caves, perhaps the new mushroom cave. Out of interest what software are you...

Having done a lot of fencing (sword fighting) myself I would have to agree that the animation does not quite look right, but for a slightly different reason. When you lunge with a sword you keep your back foot stationary and push forward with it. The front foot as well as the body move forward. http...

I've used one. I actually took a couple of archery classes in college. Once you learn the basics of how to use a bow it isn't that difficult. If I were fighting in a battle I'd chose a bow and arrows over a sword. In real life you don't have HP and apples don't heal you from getting hit by a sword. ...
