Re: Client Dialog
I do not dislike the manga-esque style, but I do not think it is ideal for this game. Nor do I like Chicka's art (no offence, Chicka). The line work isn't clean, and the body proportions are all wrong. I propose the art be created in a manner not dissimilar to HeroMachine . That is to say, created ...

Re: Monk Tutorial
I have a level 43 character who has never wielded a weapon, worn armor, or used the storage/bank. Thats awesome. Its a shame that the Brawl skill doesn't work because that would even add more to it. Initially, thats what I wanted to do but when you level up all your agility only, its virtually impo...

Re: Monk Tutorial
Right but becoming an Archer and leveling up to 99 and THEN resetting your stats to suit your needs defeats the purpose of it being challenging. Most people even advertise that being an Archer is the best way to level up no matter what class you decide to become. Being an archer makes things extreme...

Re: Monk Tutorial
The funny part is that my Monk leveled up to 15 just by doing quests. He's not powerful at all. Can't even kill a maggot without almost dying lol but I think that will change as his agility goes up. He'll probably get faster and start dodging attacks better. Yeah, it def helps when you skip the tuto...

Monk Tutorial
WARNING: Many people may consider this to be stupid, pointless, too hard, etc. They will most definetly try to discourage you from trying this. Perhaps some are right. But if you're completely bored and want a challenge feel free to try it out. Requirements: 1 fairly established Character preferably...

Re: Underwater Tileset
Hmm are you talking an effect to go over the map, similar to how the swamp and sandstorm in Tulimshar are set up? An overcast to go along with the map?

Re: Swimming in Ocean Areas
If you have a "better" idea, so let not disturb you from others also think about this  But there i see nearly the same problems like this idea of swimming - only the swimming motions are away. Good luck Sorry I phrased that wrong. I didn't mean to offend you. I didn't mean your idea...

Re: Swimming in Ocean Areas
I kind of just ditched this idea. I came up with a better one in which you won't have to swim in game. By using the Davinci Scuba Suit you can walk anywhere you want underwater. Though you can't access the water unless you obtain one.

Underwater Tileset
I know its not much or the prettiest but I suppose its a start. Its a pallette swap and modification of some Tulimshar and Hurnscald Tiles to give it an underwater appearance:
Might be too blue I dunno.

Re: Scuba Suit Mock Up
Heres a scuba NPC Wizard who lives underwater. He is an expert in water magic and lives among the Tritans. Still needs a Davinci Scuba Suit to breathe though.

Scuba Suit Mock Up
So I figured if in the game you can't go underwater by swimming, why not by Scuba Suit? I started to design a Scuba Suit based off of the designs of Leonardo Da Vinci from the 1500s so that it would fit the era of the game. Here is Leonardo Davinci's design: http://www.gadgets-gizmos-inventions.com/...

Re: Swimming in Ocean Areas
Hmm come to think of it you wouldn't even need to swim if it was set up like Sonic where you pretty much just walk underwater. That would mean when you touch the water it would probably just transition you to an underwater map where you walk slower. Likely you would need a snorkel equipped as an acc...

Re: Swimming in Ocean Areas
Thats a shame. So for multiple walk types, it is posible in the future but would require a whole overhaul of not only the client but the server as well. I suppose this wouldn't be on the priority list as probably waiting until the server empties out a bit and using manaserv instead of eathena is pre...

Swimming in Ocean Areas
I know this is a ton of work and not at all easy, however if someone was to actually do all the work and add all the extra sprites for swimming motions, can it be possible on the server to do?
