Re: mouboo sfx
OK, chomps. series "a" was actual teeth recordings, "b" is coconut husk on glass dish, "c" is a rough ceramic cup on the coconut husk. Each was modified by a small amount of fractal mono reverb and a little time lengthening. It should produce the effect of a larger crea...

Re: mouboo sfx
I agree with the need for a chomp noise. The animation makes a lovely articulated "bite" move and it would be a shame to waste it :D I will start with a selection for you of various types of chomp and clomping sounds that might fit. You can pick the type and I will make a series after play...

Re: Spider noises
All of these latest are to be "chosen from" rather than actually used as "alternate forms" of the same sound. I just realized I'm presenting them in a really confusing way. I'll try, in the future, to name files in such a way as to make the difference more apparent. Also, it is m...

Re: mouboo sfx
Ok, these should be a little better for actual usage.
Chicka, let me know about changes that you would like to see made to the style or content.

snail sfx
Here are some effects for snail usage - as usual, let me know what you think I haven't tried them on my client, but I think they may work ok I'm holding off on the silkworm sounds, the vocal series was put on backburner and the synthetic series is too "hissy" for me. It's also too low pitc...

Complete series 1 mouboo.zip sorry, in the attachment notation I put hurt(1) - it should be hurt(4) [ED] Beside the minor issues of the sound levels and being mono tracked, these sfx suck in play testing (i didn't know how when I posted). If you use all the sounds I have packaged (as indicated) it s...

I'm just glad they make some noise or I would be out of work.

Re: player-drop edits
ok that really was a lot more than I expected, the chopshop is currently at 212 items and I haven't completed the last two raw files and there is a set of 5 raws I made this morning for more dead bassy drops. Here are the 19 most exemplary items. For each one you hear there may be dozens of differen...

Re: Spider noises
Lets try these then 3-1: amplitude shaped up, volume inc in ranges, last third trails off 3-2: amplitude shaped up and pitched up, last third trails 3-3: amplitude shaped down, last third trails 3-4: just trails the last third (less is more mentality) I don't consider these production attempts, but ...

Re: player-drop edits
This may take a little longer than I'm used to, but it should be worth it. I'm cutting and pre-processing about 10 mins of sound into the 90+ drop effects. There are water noise, metal, lots of stone, brass, etc. Most of the stuff so far actually sounds like hits more than dropping noises, so I may ...

Re: plant death sfx
My money is on 2-2, but 2-3 is quieter... who knows.
2-1 sounds like a sewing machine cycle, but it was done with a completely different method (re-eq vs hi-pass filter)
Let me know.

plant death sfx
Hear (*cough*), um ... Here are a number of plant death noises I intended for use for the herb plants. As they don't "fight" and are of such low hp, about all they do is die. die1 is a crunchy leafy explosion-y sound die2 is a curt single leaf crunch die3 a more twiggy snap die4 is more of...

player-drop edits
Chicka - you commented that my originally submitted player-ui-drop2 was interesting but that it sounded like a multiple drop because (I think) of the bounce noise
Here are the re-edits I promised

Spider noises
Chicka - here are a selection of hisses (really for any purpose you may choose), use them as a starting point and let me know how changes or should be directed where needed. Series 1 are the raw vocal edits, unprocessed by effects. Series 2 are the same sounds (if I did it right) run through a minor...
