Re: Forest Bow Quest: Setting a max. amount of needed Raw Lo
I respectfully disagree, I think that since it is currently the best bow in the game for the majority of the EXP levels, it should be difficult to get. It took me around 100 logs myself, and though it took a while, I knew that I was a rare case and that I would be getting a hefty reward. TMW is ques...

Re: Is Manaworld dead or dying slowly?
I just got here, and it seems I have arrived at a hard time for most people. Though there seems to be some community issues, the game is promising and TMW shows many signs of a healthy free software project. I haven't seen anything yet that has made me lose faith in TMW or cause me to not want to co...

Re: Melkior for GM
I also can't vote in the poll but I offer my +1 on this matter. Melkior seems like a good dude and has been a successful GM in the past.

Re: ManaPlus on Fedora18
I hope that you mean that manaplus will depend on tmw. It seems silly that they would assume that every tmw installer would want manaplus with it.Ablu wrote:in newer fedora versions the tmw package will simply depend on manaplus. So no need to install it seperatly then

Re: ManaMarket
Sure, check out the two links on the initial post that are on the http://tmw-test.dyndns.org domain. Both broken links. Thanks for the working stat page link!o11c wrote:Stats are up at http://server.themanaworld.org/manamarket_stats.html
Can you show me where the old links are?

Re: night and day
Simply applying a dark overlay to the entire view during the evening would probably be the easiest way to implement this. But as someone mentioned, adding something like that with confidence would require someone to check the effect on every map to ensure that no content was rendered difficult or im...

I was approved for a wiki account the other day, and will be devoting some time to update and improve the documentation therein as I learn/play the game.

Re: How did you come here?
The Mana World lives in Fedora Linux's standard repos! I was interested and installed it with a single command. I later installed manaplus from the same place. I started the game and went up to level 9. A few months later I remembered the game, came back, and within 2 days have nearly reached level ...
