Try with some proxy? Don't know how Chinese internet access works and if it would allow you to use external proxies ;)

you could use the particle engine for cold (blue) mist underneath. or about. I think there's some work for mist already anyway, regarding particle engine or so. and yeah, man, make your own torso... it should be bigger/buffer than the normal player. we want to cause fear ;) also, no eyes...or if so,...

New tmw-svn packages for ArchLinux

Hi, For all those Arch users out there, I made a PKGBUILD for compiling tmw-svn for supposedly easier testing and so forth. Currently one cannot do much in the game and it conflicts with normal tmw install, but I reckon it's a good start when the server gets properly tested and more and more client ...

I vote floating. humming in mid-air, due to the fact it's built on magic holding it at solid form of water, it also sustains itself on frozen mist... or something like that ;)

sorry to revive a possibly old thread, but this also occured to me today while playing. if not for anything else, than have the quickshot slots for battles! clicking inventory and use on healing potions and food is just a lot of work to heal up during combat, sometimes it's just those few seconds th...

I like the frozen torso idea, it could wield a giant ice-blade as well, moving about headless, or perhaphs with a head (depends how it would look, you could do both if it's not too much work and get a vote later here for which one is better), scary stuff ;-) Ice cobras (or any snakes at that, but pe...

I suppose you're definetly right about client data... Well, currently afaik there is more than one server out there, so those could probably be used together on making the grid bigger and bigger. As regards monsters, I think you should keep in mind we don't need new monsters on every map.. As long a...

yeah, currently it's a direct almost (if not completely) rip-off from Cave Adenture. not nice, unless devs here were devs of Cave Adv. which still seems not the best option tbh.

Maps on New Server

Hi, So I see currently TMW terribly suffers from supposedly the worse thing that can hit a MMORPG - almost no locations! That doesn't even partially look like a world, just like some random maps thrown together! It's way too small. Now, that is cool and all, but it requires human interaction to put ...

someone should I suppose make the stadards comply more. that is, be more ruthless about it. I mean come on so far here we have cool stuff like snakes scorpions and maggots which all look pretty real and decent to me, and then we gots stuff like spikey mushrooms and pinkies which are just sort of off...

only when you have points to add up, not just opening it to check what they are, if no 'level up' button is pressed, no pause is done and no window gets opened. also what abuse would that be, if the player cannot attack nor do anything - to the rest of the world it'd be just as if he/she had logged ...

diarrhea monster aka old chips seriously, change the colour to something dark-purplish going into mauve with slightly dark but vivid green eyes/accents would be my first move. so far I can't get over the first impression of it looking like a doodie, it's like getting a known comedy actor in a seriou...

yeah, also, when leveling up it'd be nice to pause off from the game because otherwise it leaves the character vulnerable during the process, say you level up about a group of enemies, then you're well on your own the moment you wish to level up, you'd have to go to some safe location to hone the sk...
