It wouldn't be so bad if Sema didn't drop a stone on my head every time

In the Tulimshar quests, when Sema tells me to kill the giant cave maggot, I do it, but no iten is dropped. I've tried about 5 times (with Sema killing me each time, lol), still no iten. I can't use #zukminbirf to get an iten because my magic is too high. I'm using the mana source nightly build 0.1....
