You do realize that McCain was a POW and was tortured as one right? He suffered permanent injury and disability from that which is why he looks so stiff.
Way to go bashing a veteran that fought for our freedom, now I know where you head is at

Re: [GM Abuse] Delasia
Well like I originally said, at the core its a development issue. It should be modeled after larger scale games that don't seem to suffer this kind of issue. What would you do if Everquest, World of Warcraft, Warhammer, etc. caused lag in a city by using spells? GMs there aren't messing with players...

Re: [GM Abuse] Delasia
If there is this much lag in the game where using a skill causes the game to crawl for other players... would be a developer issue. Banning for causing lag doesn't make sense to me, if a user decided to play on a machine that cannot handle 2D FX than that is their consequence to live with the subpar...

Re: Dyna, Dimond and (~_~#) got banned
Why not put a big giant graphic that says "Experience may change with online play." Translation: "GMs should only ban for cheating, exploits, botting and spamming, anything else should be fair game." The community itself should be worried about respect and similar matters amongst...

Re: TMW Aethrya or w/e?
From the programming point of view the cooperation with Tametomo (current Aethyra programmer) was quite fruitful so far. We are sharing a gitorious account with Aethyra and a lot of client improvements from Aethyra found their way into TMW and vice versa. It would of course be easier for developers...

Re: Apparently broken javac
It depends on the version of MacOS you have and the version of Java that you need.
MacOS X 10.4.x uses Java 1.5
MacOS X 10.5.x uses Java 1.5 also but can get 1.6 through an update, although its not made to be used by default.

Equipment Slots
Hey guys! I have a question, if I want to determine which equip slot an item should be put into, how would I go about that? I am attempting to get equipment to show on the character screen, but have no way of figuring out which slot to set the sprite to. My code so far looks like this: void PlayerBo...

Re: guichan.framework version 0.8.0
Ok, thats what I thought, would that be done by adding a user setting such as:
USE_OPENGL TRUE ?
Or is there a different way to do it?

Re: guichan.framework version 0.8.0
Ok, this question pertains to OpenGL in TMW, once you have guichan with opengl support, how are you including opengl in TMW project? you have the <OpenGL/OpenGL.h> includes in the src is that all you need? or is there another parameter to pass? Also with guichan, you do the same thing when compiling...

Re: guichan.framework version 0.8.0
Thanks, I tried linking against the .dylib of guichan which worked wonderfully and finally managed to compile my own that worked as well, I don't know why the other versions weren't working. The game starts now but fails with: 4/26/08 9:45:05 AM [0x0-0xed0ed].com.TMW.TMW[23607] Assertion failed: (mS...

Re: guichan.framework version 0.8.0
Much thanks! I have an issue though, it seems as if the src isn't seeing guichan properly: cd /Users/trevor/Projects/LoMClient/XCode /Developer/usr/bin/gcc-4.0 -x c++ -arch i386 -pipe -Wno-trigraphs -fpascal-strings -fasm-blocks -O0 -Wreturn-type -Wunused-variable -fmessage-length=0 -mfix-and-contin...

guichan.framework version 0.8.0
Can anyone post either their XCode project for building these frameworks for each release or post a prebuilt .framework with OpenGL support built in?
Thanks!
Thanks!
