The roller-grub

I've been working on a monster concept called the roller-grub. Kinda like a long, rolled up maggot.
Here's what I have so far:

Re: Disturbingly double-pointed sword

It's a very nice monster, but it needs to have the light source from the South West direction.
Ooops - I had been mistaking SW up for NW. I'll retify.

Re: forest tileset

This may seem like a completely pointless observation, but shouldn't the rock's shadows go \ that way rather than / that way? I.E towards us.

Re: Disturbingly double-pointed sword

So it's not confirmed which animation we're using?

So why post your preferences here, rather than in the playerset animations thread?

His shoes and hands are a bit of a harsh red. The look a little cartoon.

Re: Desert Shrine

You two work really well together. :D EDIT: Oh, why are positive comments always met with negativity :( OK, some input: I'm not sure about the brick effect at the top of the pillar though. If we look at the image: http://img183.imageshack.us/img183/3378/piller2gk6.png The tope of the pillar should c...

Re: Disturbingly double-pointed sword

I always assumed he was holding the sword backwards in that image, yeah, as in the 'lightsaber' example it was shorter.
And yes, it does look a bit like he's hitting someone with a wrench :?

Edit: Let's remedy that and change the shading.

Disturbingly double-pointed sword

Apparently, we're in need of swords, so here's an idea for one. It looks basically like this: http://img510.imageshack.us/img510/8333/swordcx8.png Double pointed, kinda long and dreadfully hard to carry. But then so are 50 roasted maggots. The animation is based on the current swipe animation...

Re: Tent thing

This tent should have the correct perspective. (It's 45 degrees, I cheated slightly, used a 3D program  )

Re: Tent thing

It was an experiment more than anything else. Anything bigger that around 60x60 suddenly becomes too complicated.
