Re: [WIP] Skeleton
It can also be used for effects, like electrocution. Maybe if other monsters attack with static electricity or something. Or dead players being new zombie armies of a lynch while the actual player respawns.

Re: Male Swing a Weapon / Throwing
Hey Valus, maybe you could proceed with the original animation you made. Maybe slant the swing a tad more so it would have a greater horizontal area. Then do the other views. They fit the game imo.

Re: Male Swing a Weapon / Throwing
I'm sorry but I have to agree with Jetryl on this one. The swing motion should be kept simple. Everyone's going for the natural look. I think we should look at it from a cartoon perspective where a lot of things looks more natural than in real life. Plus, the more simple the movement, the more easie...

Re: AFK/BRB Chat Bubble
Assigning a key for this would be nice. At least it could also appear when a person is standing. The AFK would suffice.
Unless you guys want to have a new player sprite position like sleeping. Maybe the "dead" position with Zzzz animation on top.

Re: How did you come here?
I found the game in Ubuntu's add/remove programs while searching for RPGs. So far, this is the best the default package manager has to offer.

Re: Enforcing No Bots
So far, I've seen players do bots where their character either stands in one place and kills every monster that comes near, those that walk to and fro while attacking in random and the character that walks toward the closest monster and attack it (mouse script?). I have yet to see a bot pass the Tur...

Re: New crafting proposal ...
How about a craftsman that can make a lot of things from the same type materials but different quantities. And every time you go there, the selection is rearranged. And that instead of a text box, make it into a picture box. I'm thinking of the idea used in some online banking when you enter the pin...

Re: Are the money sinks working?
The more people use it, the cheaper it is. You should have another look at it. I know it costs cheaper the more people use it. But maybe if the price change doesn't affect other players, more could use it and more gps can be returned. Let's say instead of getting cheaper the more players use it, it...

Re: Are the money sinks working?
I'm interested in the stat reset sink ever since Iearned that 2 of them is almost useless. But I never got to save up for that amount. I only once passed 200k and by then, that wasn't enough.

Re: List of Essential Projects
Regarding the playerset. Will it still be using the same number of frames or will there be a move to add more frames? Like different attack animations for one-handed, two-handed weapons, bows, etc.

Re: List of Essential Projects
Maybe might as well have the tileset for the desert people changed to look more like the charset. They sit differently. And some NPCs are not to scale. I'm thinking that NPC clothes should be special but also maybe available to only 5% of the player population or less.

Re: Kill Limiting (A Ctrl Idle Fix)
What about areas with multiple monsters like the ice cave with bats and pinkies. or the desert with giant maggots, green slimes and red scorpions? That would fill the array up to 3 monsters. Maybe even doubling the map area while maintaining the spawn rate would make the bats more scarce per square ...

Re: Communication / Interacting
I'm not sure that the "Shout" idea is feasible. I can imagine players you can't see shouting "Giv me [stuff] plz!!!1" What if the communication with remote players would be only available if both parties have an item. Like a radio but you put in the players names to communicate w...

hat - hood
I did a hood. I'm not sure if I did the gray scale shading right to have it recolored.
I used the Santa-beard hat as template.
I cannot test this in the game because I don't have that hat and when I tried it on the serf hat, the image was offset incorrectly.
