There is a known issue with Firefox and Mozilla, where they (seemingly randomly) download files instead of rendering them. Check Bugzilla for more information.

I have no issues viewing the site in IE.

I'm not sure about Opera as I don't use this browser.

I see you adjusted the position of the door, which is an improvement, but it still seems to high off the ground in relation to the size of the player sprite. It looks like he would have to jump up to walk in.

Above that, you'll probably never see more then half a screen full of these trees and on a larger scale they look less tiled. That is true; however, they still look very repetitive even when only a handful are visible. Especially how the points of the trees all line-up vertically. Trees as objects ...

Most people don't stand with their feet pointing out to the sides so much.

The overall impression is good, but I agree, the roads are far too straight. In real life roads often curve and wind around somewhat because they often follow the contour of the land. I understand we don't really have contoured land, but the same idea could be simulated by varying the roads a bit. A...

http://wiki.themanaworld.org/images/d/d1/Player-character-full-sheet-talaroc.png Has anyone else noticed how creepy the position of the eyes are in all of the side views on the character sheet? Shouldn't they be higher on the character's head instead of where his mouth would be (if he had one)? I'm...

It might be a good idea to have the client prompt the user just before they exit the game to ask if they want to upload the log files. Then if they say yes, it could automatically upload the log files (and the associated username). This would probably expedite the debugging process, especially if ma...

Links

Can something be done to make the links in the forum stand out a little more? Maybe make them bold or use a dashed underline or something. The deep red color almost looks the same as the text on certain monitors/lcd displays.

Database Schema

I'm not sure whether it is better to discuss the database schema on this forum or in the Wiki (my guess is that far less people look at the Wiki).

I have posted my preliminary thoughts on the database schema in the Wiki.

Does anyone agree/disagree with my comments/proposed changes?

Hmm, that seems like a bad idea allowing case-sensitive usernames. As the game becomes more popular it will be more and more likely for people to take advantage of that "feature" by "impersonating" players/game masters/moderators. I can understand case-sensitive passwords because...

An individual dictionary word cannot be trademarked. Therefore, there is no risk of using the word "Mana".

Additionally, "The Mana World" is not the same as "The World of Mana". They could easily be interpreted to have very different meanings.

Looking very good. Maybe add a couple of fish bones half buried in the sand and some shadows on the vertical support poles under the bridge.
