Re: Particle fx program (request)
Today I don't think this is the real problem. It isn't so hard to write the code displaying the particle effect using pure Qt. (Without any Qt-SDL integration or SDL popup-window) The real problem is to find and take time to do it (and all the other stuff needed for a working editor of particle effe...

Re: Liing as a new posture
No feature-request more, just a dream: (I think this would be really hard to code...) "Liing" in a bed you - not necessary, not always, but with some probability - start to dream: The character stays liing in bed, but the player gets control over a "shadow character" in a special...

Re: Liing as a new posture
Ok. This feature isn't that important... (But it would be cute.)

Re: Liing as a new posture
Even this would be great!
Well, I would also appreciate outdoor-liing in the grass, but sure I can live without it.
And - having beds, where you can stand so, that it looks nearly like liing in them, shouldn't they make you recover more quickly than when you're sitting?

Liing as a new posture
In Hurnscald I found in one of the houses chambers with beds. I can step on the bed, sit on it, but not lie in it, which makes me really sad :) I know the greatest issue when adding a new player posture is making graphics for it. Would it be possible to enable liing and use the "dead" fram...

I must say I'm not going to help yet - I'm just thinking about it. Thanks for the information about Bertram - I'll pm him.

Is a particle-effect-editor still needed? And if so, should it use Qt 3 or 4 for it's GUI?

Re: 0.0.27 client crashes on startup
I think I'm on a track of that bug. While working on ParticlEd, I discovered that it only occurs when something's being loaded by Guichan: Particles etc., when created, ask ResourceManager to load an image for them abd everything is OK. But when I create e.g. ImageFont, it uses another mechanism to ...

Re: Treasures
I know that. I have some very "nice" experience with this. But I didn't know that they drop the eaten items after they are killed. I thought the items are just away...

Re: Treasures
Oh, really? It's some feature I haven't noticed yet.
Do I understand it well that in Hurnscald underground there are slimes which eat items and drop them as they are killed?

Treasures
I would like to be able to hide treasures: For some not very small, not very huge amount of GP you can buy treasure box. You can put some amount of items (limited either by weight or simply number of slots). Then you can place it somewhere. Either in your house (I know there are no private houses no...

Re: Idea for Langs
As far as I know, TMW client uses localization based on GNU gettext and server doesn't need any localization, because all the text presented to the player (except of chat) is produced by the client. Spanish translation has already been done, but it lacks some messages, so I think it would be helpful...

Re: New PvP server
I agree. If anyone has a bored server with huge harddisks which cry for some content, don't be cruel to that machine and bring some fun to it's circuits, please... But I'm not sure how much work it would be to establish such a server even if there really was someone with a spare "computing trol...

Re: assassin armor full set [WIP]
I vote for the previous version, because there it's clear what is what. Here especially the female version looks like with a wrap around her neck. In the previous version colar looks more like colar.
