Recolors are useful, but as Aethyra has found out, can be overdone. Still, they provide some measure of variety with limited numbers of monster sprites.

Yes, Kinwa, these sprites exist on Aethyra's SVN. But to the best of my knowledge, these sprites are GPL, and may even have originated in the TMW archives somewhere. What about using NPCs to spawn mobs? Also, if you have set spawn points, people will just start farming that specific location on the map. Though I will admit, some maps could really benefit from that method.

The other person was informed in IRC. As for using this tileset, that's an issue for TMW staff to deal with.

Also, I'm no lawyer, so I know little to nothing about what's compatable with the GPL.

Fother J, I'd like to apologize for the lack of proper documentation on that tile set. The issue has been fixed, but it will likely cause you and at least one other tile artist some trouble with ongoing projects such as this. Seems I failed to see something in the forum rules somewhere. My apologies to everybody for the conflict that this whole chocolate bar thing has caused, and the tardiness with which I looked into the licence Kinwa wanted on the art.

When first envisioned, I wanted the wisp to have much of the same settings as Crush proposes. Though an aggro personality and low crit rate would be where I diverge from him on it. I liked the idea of it being an annoyance, but not a threat. Also, I wanted to have it easier to hit with magic attacks...
