Re: My Personal Feedback on TMWA & ManaPlus.
Well I think short term the easiest way to get it on windows is via a VM. Most people can handle Installing VirtualBox or VMWare on a windows machine that can host a server. I tried getting https://vagrantcloud.com/ to work https://github.com/wushin/tmwa-vagrant but I don't have the time. I did not...

Re: My Personal Feedback on TMWA & ManaPlus.
Yeah for me I guess I would have a more Linux Mindset if even 10% of users used Linux. One the nice parts of steam it shares stats to get an idea of what most PC Gamers are using and BTW more useful then just saying more use Windows but you get an idea of hardware and help direct where TMWA / ManaPl...

Re: My Personal Feedback on TMWA & ManaPlus.
The reason that there are so many patches is that we *are* reusing past patches. It would be silly to customize it for every user if that's what your saying. Most of our patches are small enough that the HTTP overhead is negligible, for for the rest, it's still worth it to be able to only change on...

My Personal Feedback on TMWA & ManaPlus.
Hello, my name is Kane Hart. I came to TMW community back in 2009. Just like back then I was learning how to run my own server and wanted to make my own little game. My personal experiences are running Servers, Gaming Servers, and Communities. One of my biggest accomplishments in my life was moving ...

Re: get nothing in quest logs.
Is this something we can just adapt to new quests for now and then add the old ones in overtime? Something like a progressive feature? I would start with the most basic quests add a few new kill or collect kind of quests. Then overtime bring in the old ones. Unless you have to bring them all in at o...

Has anyone tried building SDL2 for Windows?
I noticed its being supported more and more and I assume someday will make the switch. I wanted to give it a try but keep getting an issue. I'm really new to compiling this stuff so please take it easy on me. In Codeblocks I go to the project build options and go to Windows client #defines and I add...

Mapping with Tiled and using AutoMap?
So I see a crap ton of rules in fact there is something like 80 Rules or so in tmwa-client-data-master\rules. The only issue is when I try to load examples I get the following errors: example_woodland.tmx http://i.imgur.com/RseRu25.png example_mountain.tmx http://i.imgur.com/efAg1Kz.png I'm worried ...

Thanks Ventole for taking the time to report this. Hopfuly a GM will take a few minutes and check this out. After all ignore is really the selfish way out and you want to help prevent such abusive behavior discouraging them away from TMW.

What is your FPS with opengl and none opengl support?
Mine is strange I get about 70fps without opengl and about 20 with opengl and the textures and quality went to hell. I thought I post and ask here before bugging everyone in IRC since I have linux windows and mac lol so I want to be able to make sure I'm not to crazy. Also I ran dual boot and also f...

Mapping Questions.
I would like to know more about the layers and this sort of what I got right now using the Tiled (Qt) Map Editor Version 0.3.1. I'm learning this all by playing this tonight: Ground - This is your ground layer usally grass, sand, water, floor, rock. Mask - This usually your fences, rocks, walkways, ...
