Re: TMW on psp
Can I has source link please? lol as I am not getting very far with what I'm working with. Oh I have 2 psp-2000's and 1 psp-3000. If there was a way to handle chat differently I would suggest that. If you really want it that bad, I can upload it somewhere. You will need to have all the dependencies...

Re: TMW on psp
Yeah, I got rid of the audio and removed the ambient layer. That improved it some... I think I will go for the colour conversion though to free up some memory, as I don't think it's getting far enough to cache anything yet. Really only have 20MB to play with and with all the different threads runnin...

Re: TMW on psp
I reduced the font size and scaled some of the windows down and it plays ok until it crashes. I have the old fat PSP with 32MB of RAM so I keep running out of memory. One of the slim PSPs could handle it no problem.

Re: TMW on psp
I tried to port tmw to to the psp, I was successful in compiling the client but couldn't get the SDL net stuff working properly so I could never connect to a server. Edit: Had a look at my old source code and figured out why I could always connect to login server but never negotiate fully with char ...

Re: TMW on ipod touch
The PSP SDL port is just a layer on the sceGu library that uses the gpu anyway. I have opengl support disabled at the moment because the less variables introduced into the port the better... once I get it fully functional I may work on adding GL.

Re: How did you come here?
I was browsling my /usr/portage/games-rpg directory looking for something to pass the time and saw tmw and decided to give it a go. It was a long time ago though and I got tired of killing maggots over and over. Every time I stepped outside the starting area, I'd get owned by a giant maggot or somet...

Re: TMW on ipod touch
Started working on a PSP port again recently... all these library dependencies are killin me though
too much porting!
And since PSP statically links libraries into the binary, it's huge! (before stripped)

Re: TMW on ipod touch
I messed with a psp port too for a while but never came up with anything useful... might try an ipod port now that my wife got me one for christmas
It's true that the iphone SDK uses objective-c but you can just wrap it around c or c++ code.
