Re: Ways to sync the clients so the game will look better?
Hi, Speaking using the third person is an official sign of mental unstability, Bertram said. So, for your own sake, he is warning that you should stop that. I want to hear what you would do to create zones and how the zones would resolve issues Well, if M. Bogus is talented in c++ and design, I gues...

Re: YourFunWorld Dedicated 24/7 Server!
Hi,
Best regards,
Seemed to me Apple was hiring (even indirectly) 12 years old children to produce Ipads... Does that mean they work for Apple, too?He hired someone as a game master who is, according to his forum profile here, only 12 years old, when that's any indication...

Re: Unable to create an ENet Server.
Hi, The problem I anticipate is that the accountserver will report the wrong gameserver IP to the clients. When the gameserver connects to the accountserver via the private network, the accountserver might report the LAN IP of the gameserver to the client, which will be unusable for it. Indeed. I'll...

Re: Unable to create an ENet Server.
Hi, But when I set net_gameHost to the external IP and leave net_accountHost and net_chatHost to localhost, the account server works but obviously can't connect remotely. Taken from the doc: http://doc.manasource.org/manaserv.xml The IP or hostname the account server will listen to. Don't use the 'l...

Re: Call for translators before 0.6.0 release!
Hi all,
A few more feature will be part of the 0.6. (I'll talk about that in the corresponding thread.)
Once done, I'll update the po files and ask officially for translation updates. Until then, the instruction given above are still relevant if anyone is interested.

Re: mysql.h missing
Hi chrno, Thanks for trying out manaserv. Compiling on windows isn't always easy. i guess you'll need the includes, lib and dll files for compiling using mysql on windows, as they're not provided AFAIK by Crush. They can be found there: http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/mysql/#downloads You'll probably...

Hi there, What happened recently on the dev side of things: Manaweb has seen many bug fixes, the use of a proper translation module, and progress on the setup. Let's thank jurkan, seeseekey and cjwillcock for that. Manaserv: Bugfixes and some nice scripting commands have been added to the server by ...

Re: [DIS] GM and DEV robes?
Hi,
I also do think that a DEV cap is more than enough. Plus the fact that people usually accept to discuss to technical game questions, without even the need to be a dev at all.
(Just the fact of being polite suffices ).
My two cents.
Have a nice day all.
