Re: ehh..some quick colored drawing of a cactus monster

Ah,

And that monster sounds like a great one.

We desperately miss some boss!

Have a nice day,

Re: ehh..some quick colored drawing of a cactus monster

A little bit off-topic from the cactus monster, eh? As for myself, I can say that square-Enix(c) being the strongest RPG society in the world, I think you can all forget about it and just try providing new content, keeping the SoM spirit, as if we were doing SoM v1.5, or something like that ... To g...

Re: Chat screen

Hi, Could you tell a little more about it? - What is your OS (Windows, Linux (Distribution), ...)? - What is your TMW version (0.0.29.1?) - Is the chat screen the only window that won't scroll? (Does the news window scroll?, the help window?, ...) - Could you describe the problem a little more? Rega...

Re: TMW GUI - skinning thread

Hi Rotonen,

Could we still use the wooden button for the highlight patch from Turmfalke?

If the buttons are too narrows, can Adamaix make them a little bit wider?

Re: Environmental Sound FX

In my humble opinion, that sounds ;) like a quick, but ugly workaround.

I'd prefer having ambient sounds with own properties (sound radius, loop, restart-each-sec, ...)
all of that being nicely handled in the map file.

Just my thought.

Re: Environmental Sound FX

I committed the environmental sounds from Dariuas, who I thank this nice contribution.

Now, to add environmental sounds, positional Audio + ability to get sounds objects in maps is needed.

I propose to add the latter as an issue and link it with the positional audio issue.

Re: [REQ] New login wallpaper

Hi, I've uploaded the spit23 version of the login wallpaper, the one without copyrighted parts within. I think the idea to see a map slowly scroll behind the login windows in a great one, and has my support. But I think if we have to implement something like this, then special maps made to be scroll...

Re: Environmental Sound FX

Hi,

Are these three sounds ready for commit?

I propose to add prefix for ennemies, player, system, environmental sounds, ...

Something like:
- maggot-hit1.ogg -> monster-maggot-hit1.ogg
- and in this case: env-burningfire1.ogg

What do you think?

Well, As a matter of fact, I really think you don't have to worry about your characters for now, and even not in the present year, nor the next one. What I believe in my humble opinion (and is just my thought), is that Rotonen and the art team are giving their best to slowly but surely implem...

Re: Something quite wrong about our development team

Hi Rotonen, With this I agree. Perhaps a sub-forum of GFX dev to which only a selected few can post, but everyone can read it? (At the moment about 70% of the time I spend on TMW is spent deleting posts from GFX dev. I do spend 10h+ weekly trying to provide a platform on which to build, so it is get...

We can imagine many technical things, as long as we have the matching sprites ;)
