Is manaplus in pacman repo still up to date?
manaplus is supposed to be in the pacman official repos (even mentioned in ArchWiki), but I'm always getting the warning that my client is out-of-date, even after updating. Does anyone know if that repo is still updated? Otherwise I'll try to compile from source...

Re: Rikki for GM
Cannot vote, but would be yes. As far as I know he's an active and friendly person with lots of experience on the game, and think it would be fun having him around as a GM!

Re: Magic-v3, Sense Spouse & Wedding Rings [DIS]
Not entirely, it's true that you can chipchip a creature only once every 10mins, but the scissors symbol wouldn't disappear on the main server (until you chipchip a creature that can actually drop something).

Re: Magic-v3, Sense Spouse & Wedding Rings [DIS]
It seems that, currently, #chipchip can be applied on the same mob straightaway after the cooldown ends (not after 10 mins), but no items would drop anymore. Not sure if this is a bug, but it would be a quite annoying feature for players who don't remember which mob they already sheared.

Re: Rethinking skill system.
Not bad, but it would only make sense if the skill power rose linearly with the skill level. If it stays quadratically as it is now, putting all 9 points into a single skill would remain the best option.

Pretty much the classical story - was looking in ubuntu software center for something playable on linux without any nasty tweaks and workarounds

Re: Magic-v3, Sense Spouse & Wedding Rings [DIS]
I've tested most of the spells and those are things I noticed to be different: (probably not bugs) Messages from spells are shown in the general tab The attack delay of confringo and ingrav has been enlargened Ingrav is not cancelled upon a player's death (probably a bug) The effect of betsanc and p...

Mapping error in 006-1
Note by Cassy: Split from Release v2015.1.26 [TEST] Map 006-1, on positions (0,77), (8,82) and (15,76) the cactuses are overridden by edges: ManaPlus_Screenshot_server.themanaworld.org_2015-01-22_14-14-10_1 (copy).png It's not a big problem because the area isn't walkable anyway, though it looks a ...

Broken warp in map 011-6
There seems to be a broken warp point in the Bandit Cave, which teleports to a seemingly random location inside the cave. I had a look at https://github.com/themanaworld/tmwa-server-data/blob/master/world/map/npc/011-6/_warps.txt and it should be this one: 011-6.gat,47,120|warp|To Second Bandit Cave...

Re: Moving Tutorial to Candor and Closer to Hurnscald [Test]
Great work! Candor looks much better now! The only thing I really miss form the old maps is the one with the Druid tree, which was the best place for hunting black scorpions and snakes at a medium level. Now it's very narrow and hard to kill something in there. But I really appreciate the confringo ...
