True. I'd have to convert them to wav temporarily to master them anyway so I could easily export them as .ogg.

Nice, but could you maybe add a gradient or something to the roof so it looked less flat and repetitive? No, i want it to be tileable. Using a gradient would limit it to a fixed height. Could you maybe make a semi-trasparent gradient overlay then? Or try making the cabin with the darker shade of th...

Sorry for the one-month bump, but I live on a farm and could make some field recordings. My mp3 recorder can't record any higher quality than 128kps mp3 though. :( I really hope to buy a high-quality sampler soon. P.S. Although purely acoustic music isn't my forte, I could try and whip something up ...

^ Yeah I agree. The logs would look better sharpened. You might also want to throw in modified the fence to fit the rest of my tiles: http://img214.imageshack.us/img214/306/myhouse0uc.png Nice, but could you maybe add a gradient or something to the roof so it looked less flat and repetitive? There needs to be a shadow on the building side where the roof hangs out over it. That's the first thing I think needs to be corrected.

Wow! Comin' along great. I think the building curves and the bottom layer of the two-layer roofs need a bit more shading, but it looks great. :D

The only way I'm going to be happy with zombies is that we're going to have an array of 5-10 different zombies: they just shouldn't look like each other. That's the reason I didn't make them so decayed. I think making the skin look a bit more decayed and putting the arms up would make it ready to g...

If you edit the playerset and just change the colour and add some wounds it looks more like a halloween outfit rather then a real zombie. Well if the players are wearing clothes, it'd be different. I am planning for v2.0. Being a zombie isn't about having a green skin. It's about needing fresh brai...

I based it on the scorpion spriteset. If you want to post a template of your own, go right ahead.

Well it doesn't look so bad, but I'd say a zombie shouldn't be just a recolored player. On the contrary, I think it'd be best if the zombies looked like the playerset because it make them seem more familiar. If they were a different style, the line between NPC and PC would be much wider. If a party...

Monster Template

Click for the xcf file.

There's also an invisible scorpion layer on top so you have an idea of what to put where. :D

Do you all think this could work in the game? Critiques welcome. If you all think it's a good idea, I'll start developing the entire set. =]

Very nice. I was kinda hoping the walk animation would be slowed down a bit to fit the walking speed, but izz all good. :D

Now it really feels more like my character is fighting the monsters. :)

Barber

With the new hair and sprites for version 0.0.19, the Tulimshar barber needs to be seriously updated. Also, I have noticed that a couple of the colors are off a pixel or two. Other than that, I am really pleased with the sprite upgrade. =]
