Besides editing config file, there are at least 3 ways to remove a monster from attack list:

• Rightclick on it => remove from attack list
• Open social window (F11), Atk tab, remove the corresponding entry
• in chat enter /removeattack MonsterName

If none of these work, it could be a bug.

Here is an idea: Implement a new packet CMSG_MAP_SERVER_RECONNECT. It would use the same session id1 and id2, account id and char id, what was got on normal connect. For example, you lose internet just for a minute (at Cindy, Candor, or Illia), and when it's back, you can't go back to the same area....
