Perhaps someone should contact Artificial Intelligence the Ubuntu forums staff member that seems to be the one who got TMW into Ubuntu in the first place. They may be able to help get the update posted in a timely manner to the official server. While you are at it you may want to update the package ...

Perhaps different ports are needed for updates.themanaworld.org? That always fails on my computer that is behind a very restrictive firewall.

Open the application Terminal and enter the following code defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE killall Finder The open your home folder and look for the folder called .TMW When you are done ...

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. It works great, and from the lack of whining in the forums I would guess that no one else is having any problems either. It looks and works great, even the new features.

I don't see any real need to enforce name rules for the game. If someone wants to be take seriously they will choose a serious name. But not letting someone chose a name unless it is approved seems a little elitist. Perhaps if there is a large enough group of hardcore role-players that wants such ru...

Location based sounds

With the new dynamic particle effects I was thinking that it would be neat to have sounds for specific locations. For instance a sound of a waterfall that you would hear louder as you get closer to the waterfall. This could be very neat for the waterfall, torches in the caves, river, and maybe other...
