First of all a couple of remarks: the getting-hit frames are not required, nor necessary (at least for the moment), so you can skip them for the moment. Gotcha. I said hardly, because before switching we will have to adapt the code to use a different number of frame, a different size for the sprite...

i thought about some free distributeable points in the new character stat system or something like that.. Problem with that is, once the new server comes up, we won't be using a "distributed points" system anymore; skills and stats will be individually levelled up through use. I'm also ki...

Now that the forum is finally back online (maci!!! :P )... Everything's finally more or less back to normal on my computer. As you can see below, I didn't get much done over the summer, and I haven't really had any working time terribly recently (not that it would have mattered, before I got Photosh...

Given that "the music sucks anyways" was given as an aside, that really doesn't sound like your main reason. Like I said, I'm a musician. I take music, and it's effect, seriously. Am I terribly fond of the way the synthesizers are playing the current music? No. However, the music is being ...

Re: What about a still stand, and a fight one ?

Maybe we should think about showing the difference between a peaceful character walking in the city without handed weapon, and a prepared to combat one with a sword or something else on the fist. I personally think we should head to have two separate standing position. But I'm not an artist, and i ...

Why did you put it on the first page? Anyway... I am liking the new text, and having looked a bit, I like the slightly darker background color (it's a bit less glaring than what we currently have). However, I still prefer the logo as we have it already; I just think it looks better with the white li...

On the next Mac release, please include all the files; the music folder (and all the files in it) were missing when I downloaded and installed.

Aside from that, great, and thanks for finally enabling me to play the game!

Allright, did that, got it to work. One thing I would like to see down the road: the music is hindered somewhat by the rather poor quality of synthesization being used. This is particularly apparent whenever brass or woodwind instruments are used; they really don't sound anything like the actual ins...

Hmm...yeah, actually, it does look like I'm missing the faith.ogg file that the client says it's playing. Where could I find that, and where should I put it?

There's definately improvement here, but there's still the issue of the grass looking tiled. One thing I thought about that might help prevent that: what about making one single, really large grass "tile" (say, 160x160), then chopping it up into a number of regularly-sized tiles? There wou...

Well, what I meant was, the actual pots can take up that whole space. But anyway. Some tips to help you out. The general construction of the pots is nice, and with a little bit of work they can really look quite good. A few things to help do so: * Take out the black outlines. It's really tempting to...

I don't know what we've got now, actually; the music doesn't work on the mac version. I'd be interested to hear what you've got running for the next version, though.
