Crush's suggestion sounds better to me than simply blocking all summons spells in large parts of the game (and considering the question again when we add new maps). Personally, I don't mind griefing experienced players. In fact, some of my spawn parties are probably on the line between "spontaneous fun" and "dirty tricks" like luring people into some room with juicy slimes and then dropping nasties in the next room so they can't return after...

Try quinny's suggestion. You continue to earn skill points until you can maximize every skill which you learned, plus 1 skill point. Therefore, you don't need to "reset" those skill points. It looks like you didn't learn any such skills yet. Talk with Luca in Tulimshar to get started. You ...

It was already possible to cause summoned spiky mushrooms to attack other player characters. If this is a bug, it's a very old one.

I guess it's pretty clear this is not a bug, in the sense that the behavior is exactly as intended. Personally, I think the social aspects of gaming can really help a lot with this quest. There aren't many other uses for Jack O Souls now, and they stack in storage, therefore many people dump extras ...
