Re: Releasing: Crown and Platyna's Red Dress
Anyway I assume that dev and GM hat and robe will be also available to players during the game play? I have always been against those hats, from the very start! Nobody! Not me, not GMs, Nobody should get something just because they made something for the game, Or had some fancy ass job in the game....

Re: Hardcore server
What about irreplaceable rare items? If a hardcore player dies with one.. it's gone forever. Such is the path of the hardcore... Things like that actually appeal to that type of gamer (until they die that is it  ). I'd image they would only use the items that are good for combat and keep the f...

Re: Releasing: Crown and Platyna's Red Dress
Nobody should get any special items just because they made it, is friends with the artist , or has Admin/GM access to make the item appear out of thin air. Items should be hard won through playing the game, which is why I support hard to near impossible methods of obtaining such items through Game-P...

Re: The official server-move flamewar topic
The upside is that putting it to a vote, if endorsed by both Platyna and the TMWC, would make them both a part of the process and respectful of the results, so the community would be re-united. Then, if people still have a problem after the reunification, they can gracefully leave, as has been TMW ...

Re: Hardcore server
Combining this with the death penalty idea , we can send dead HC players there and not give them a away out. Only non-HC chars can leave the dead place. Actually HC might satisfy the player base who wanted a death penalty, while letting the casual gamers keep the old system they enjoy. Then again i...

Re: The official server-move flamewar topic
I'm not on anybody's side. I just call it as I see it. Probably, Platyna sees me on the TMWC's side, and the TMWC (and their supporters) see me on Platyna's side, which is a good indication that I am neutral regarding the individual dispositions involved. If it could be said that I'm on anyone's si...

Re: Hardcore server
It appears that if you have any damage before reading the note it kills you outright (the note cannot kill so long as the player has full hp), in good news I haven't been able to recreate the error of not being asked about HC. What about the monster oil quest? Isn't that one also able to randomly ki...

Re: Hardcore server
On the 3rd character I made, I was never asked if I wanted to be HC (I'm not sure if it's something to do with Evol). I had to make a new account, and when i got to the note it brought me down to 1 hp. Clicking on it again directly after killed me, not sure if that was on purpose (do you get only on...

Re: Hardcore server
I would also remove stuff like the death note in this house (which kills you instantly if you read it) (at least for hardcore mode). You should have control about wether you live or die. Reading a note in a room that you might not know which ends your hard work for your character is a bit silly to ...

Re: The official server-move flamewar topic
Let's be honest, I don't see any chance that either side is going to see eye to eye. Nothing is going to be resolved here, for better or worse this is the new norm. Platyna, and Blackrazor I wish you luck with .Net, you have an uphill battle ahead of you.

Re: Hardcore server
Len why did you alter my quote and add some stuff? This is highly confusing. Sorry I thought I was adding it to the end of mine. Edit: It seems to work nicely, I also like the improvements to the maps and the tiles. I would suggest having the text in red ("yes" should be the 2nd option, n...

Re: Hardcore server
What Garrett suggested is rather easy to do. We just have to ammend some scripts: We would have to ammend - Sorfina - the Soul Menhir When talking to Sophia there is a new menu that asks if you want to be a hardcore character or not, this only works with level 1 chars. If you say yes sophia sets yo...

Is it possible to make a server in which death deletes the character?
