Re: [FND] Sailing hats
I have read that and I disagree with it. Making and item icon different for the sake of being different can get in the way of the most important aspect of an Icons job. Which is to be instantly recognizable. Using a rotation tool on any pixel art is a big no no. unless its at ninety degree angles :...

Re: TMW GUI - skinning thread
Something really needs to be done about the font, especially since all these player appearing with similar names. I did a test to see what it would look like to have a 9patch thing for the title. Looks like it could work, the image was taken from a scroll I made for one of Fate's project, which I th...

Re: TMW GUI - skinning thread
I've been working on a title bar lately. The title is a bit hard to read, but this is a work in progress. Its possible also for the title text to have its own colour/font setting, which we could use to mitigate the problem of illegible text. Another possiblilty is to have the title text embedded in ...

Re: [REQ] New login wallpaper
I too like the idea, why not get a working prototype using current maps, so mappers can test it and utilise to good effect?

Re: TMW GUI - skinning thread
I've kept the style and combined it with the initial wooden set. Just a colour test, I'll still need to rough it up a little.
edit: There, if that doesn't go perfectly with the new theme, then I don't know what will.

Re: TMW GUI - skinning thread
This is the fourth button set, everytime someone does not like it, then I do another. The sapphire set is still medieval using the golden font that goes with the theme set. I could make it cracked to have an authentic feel to it and if you don't like it then make your own button. I like this set so ...

In Jaxad's defense he is requesting a feature, the same way you would on Mantis when its related to code.

Re: TMW GUI - skinning thread
I tried it with cobalt blue, it looks very nice. Below is the completed set including tabs. The buttons work best with the latest Git client because there was a commit by Turmfalke that allows you to change the colour of the buttons to something lighter. Enjoy.

Re: TMW GUI - skinning thread
I did a button inspired by Wesnoth. Its not perfect yet, but I would like to know what the community thinks. Should I continue this? Perhaps another color?

Re: [REQ] New login wallpaper
That's very good Spit23, are the images you left behind original gpl artwork? You can also remove the images using the layered .xcf file located in the tmw-art repository on Gitorious.
