Until that rule is changed, all unobtainable items should stay unobtainable and hence be destroyed. I don't see a reason why exceptions should be made.

The whole idea is interesting. Ddeath should come with a penalty, at least to make death meaning something. It doesn't have to be harsh though, and what's proposed here is good. For quest design purposes, I do think there should be a way to disable this new "death logic" from script code, ...

Yeah, it is a end-game item imo, and they work well together with other high end gear, like the lazurite robe + wiz hat + sapphire ring is needed to reach 110 int, same goes for the ruby ring together with the bull helmet etc, they are really useful but only at high level. Nope. The script did exactly what it was asked to do: update existing minimaps. 019-4 has been forgotten by the creator of that map (but also because the tool was maybe not in git yet, so things should be smoother now), so there was nothing to update ;) 019-4 has now been created (thanks for report)...

Minimaps that needed an update are now updated -- which is almost all, due to the change of graphic style that happened when rewriting tmxrasterizer for inclusion in Tiled.

Alternate solution: do not fight them, and focus on worthy mobs like skels / fallens / zombies when you're in gy.
