Bugs in Towel system ?
Stranger : ManaPlus_Screenshot_server.themanaworld.org_2014-04-17_18-16-11_2.png I ordered an orange Towel, Stranger deletes items in wrong order, and gives me a blue one. Not sure it is a bug: The first time I tried to use a towel after the update, It didn't work All my 6 towels were replaced by a...

Re: Poll about changes on the server
Please vote. Sincerely I can't vote and will not do it. anyway there are so few player on this forum now that the advice is biased and the poll does not represent a significant average (see the number of answers in the town drop poll). Things are not Black or White. There are many shades of grey be...

Re: automated clients
I was thinking about this a bit: IMO the rules should *only* be on the homepage and in the game itself (as they already are). Neither the wiki nor the forum are a place for the rules - the wiki should only mention the link to the homepage where the rules are. When there are changes you'd also only ...

Re: automated clients
If the rules are not clear to you, please ask on the forums or for a GM to clarify. This game is free to play and only has 5 rules. You can't start playing the game until you read the rules. If you choose to skip reading the rules, please don't blame the people in charge of enforcing the rules with...

Re: Allow drops in city areas?
Nard/BC: I do not think game should try to protect people from themselves at all.[...] I just wanted to bring some possible consequences to the front. As those consequences are negative they can lead to complaints. I am satisfied with the actual situation, but am not against a change though I see v...

Re: Allow drops in city areas?
The idea of allowing drops in town is ok, but I'd maintain the no drops in buildings or x spaces within storage. Hell, just allow drops in Hurnscald but leave the drop ban in tulimshar if we have to protect people from their own derp. +12: GMs have enough boring tasks to do without adding to them. ...

Re: Allow drops in city areas?
1 role-play thief/ scammer over 100 platers is enough to bring suspicion. weren't players who sat on drops?
Also some autopickups allow to pick items without even notice it. Use trade!

Re: Allow drops in city areas?
Drop protection has also another utility: It prevents mistakes around storage areas, especially with new players.
mistakes in those areas may attract stealers.
If this protection is dropped, I will ask to 4144 to make different buttons for dropping and storing.

Re: Manaplus Icon
Another one with fantasy font which avoids the confusion with letters Ф (cyrillic and greek). the M letter is nice but would require a higher saturation at small size. The overall balance between text and image is changed. :/ Changed the frame to a brassy one. Manaplus 2g.png svg file: http://tinyur...

Re: Test 03-26-2014
Once a year still counts as rare, which you would know if you watched newcomers play the game. [*]You should apply to yourself your previous remark. [*]Rare means rare: many items are given once per char. and are not rares, Santa hat, forest armor, wooden shield for example. Towels are frequent in ...

After some comments, another one. (not sure if I understood well). Manaplus 2f.png I had also this one  : [...]M look like ass I must admit it is true alt27 (I thought to weeping willow and a greek "phi"). edit.: I tried to edit the bottom :P, but it leaded to unwanted advertizing for...

Re: Test 03-26-2014
Well (even though in a less drastic fashion) i do agree with o11c there. Re: Manaplus Icon
Better! I still don't like the "m" covering the tree. Maybe it should be covering only the roots or something. I have no satisfying solution to this point. " M " and " + " must be big enough to catch the eye at small size. Tree is decor only. Edit: Other propositions a...
