Re: Oh, our poor naked banker!
Even if the material is wood, I still have no idea what is that box supposed to be... Is it a torture chamber? Please don't replace the banker with such a cruel thing... it nearly gave me a heartattack. Poor banker. But seriously, please draw up a concept arts first. If we need the final pixel...

Re: From Rip to Redraw
So, even if you've never seen their work, had it described to you, etc, and you make something similar, you could get sued? Stupid laws. If you can prove you never had access to the work and somehow made something similar, your safe! But if you used it in the making of your work, even if the finish...

Re: [WIP] New Woodland
Please use the new woodland Titleset and complete it with your new briges and more yellow in the brige they are no red wood in the new forrest It was intended to be at a conception level. Changing colour and the base tileset is trivial. But here it is: http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r156/SnEptU...

Re: [WIP] New Woodland
The bridge looks out of place. How about something like this? http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r156/SnEptUne/bridge.png Very good but 3 very different color shemes in 1 build ? Sorry, I drew it in a hurry, so I haven't recoloured the gate yet. This one should have a more unified colour scheme: ht...

Re: [WIP]woodland improvement
I looked at the old tileset. Apparently, the root part is indeed taller, so I made changes to the tile like this:Crush wrote:Really great, Saphy.
I am trying to make the trunk near the root hairy, but it looks kind of weird.

Re: [WIP]woodland improvement
Welcome back, very much appreciated. I hope your job hunting goes well. Unfortunately I have no useful input on the course of action to be taken with this tileset at this moment. Thanks. I did get a job, it is just that I am not doing very well in it. Anyway, I am going to update the tall tree and ...

Re: [WIP]woodland improvement
Hi, long time no see. I have been too depressed with job search and working with disrespecting people that I have not visited this forums until now. Although I don't have that much free time either, I can take over with polishing this tileset etc... to create a unitfied style. Should I continue to w...

Re: Male Swing a Weapon / Throwing
I'm sorry but I have to agree with Jetryl on this one. The swing motion should be kept simple. Everyone's going for the natural look. I think we should look at it from a cartoon perspective where a lot of things looks more natural than in real life. Plus, the more simple the movement, the more easi...

Re: [WIP]the woodland?????
I am going on a vacation for a month, so I may not able to post on the forum unless I find some means to go online during my vacation. Either grass looks fine to me. Apparently, my flight got delayed due to the snow storm, so I am drawing up another version of the trunk: http://i143.photobucket.com/...

Re: [WIP]the woodland?????
I used the colourmap of the other tree in the tileset and I got this:
Somehow, the trunk doesn't blend well with the leaves.

I have also attempted the trunk for the tall tree:
and with tileable trunk:
Would that look too artificial?
