I don't know how to set a transparent colour on GIMP....could u help me? As i said, i'm newbie at doing this =S

It's my first attempt in GIMP and pixelizing something to the game...

i could do it if i knew how to =) i usually worked in "paint" quite well =) and i did most of my messenger smiles....but' that's a bit different =)
