One thing I just noticed about the auto-ban code is that you do *not* get a warning if you slowly repeat the exact same line. The warning only occurs if you say too much *within* the autoban cycle, regardless of whether it's a repeated line or not (though there are bonuses for repeats and lamespeak).

The whole "remove control chars" code is definitely poorly-thought-out.

I'm pretty sure the codebase no longer cares about the hard-coded limit. It should be pretty simple to change it to a policy limit.

Terranite Chest Armor is strictly better than Forest Armor if you can afford 99 points in DEX, because the defense bonus is worth far more than any number of points spent in VIT. It's not as good as Warlord Plate + Dex Ring though.

Not really. I mean any client that is not sending any traffic. Normally manaplus send a ping packet once every second while connected to the map server.
