The problem of a GP-per-Kill-System is always the same for me... In the end of every (Singleplayer)-RPG I played (using that system), I'm rich to buy everything twice. Earning money moves into the background because you will get it automatically. How about that system (for infinite number of quests)...

It is a bug, which I have to fix. And I will if people, careless if someone underestands their posts on forum, are not going to kill my motivation. Regards. The poor mens way would be to just resize the screen using bilinear filtering. I believe that SDL even supports this out of the box. As a non-programmer you shouldn't worry about the performance. You can't estimate that anyway.
