Re: The official server-move flamewar topic
What a GM is, is not a gray area as it has been defined, and yet you believe GM's roles are contradictory to what they have been defined as. Now you say defining the rules and power structure would somehow act as a deterrent. Sure it might be easier to call them out on it, but as I've been told most...

Re: The official server-move flamewar topic
you can show me a quote where the sky is officially declared purple by those in power, that does not make it so. That same thread you quoted has a discussion about how GMs cannot be representatives of those they are assigned to review and punish (as appropriate). It is a conflict of interest. Maybe...

Re: The official server-move flamewar topic
At this point I say just wipe both servers and nobody can complain about who owns what.

Re: [WIP] New Desert Tileset
even the original version you developed doesn't tile. recoloring doesn't change that It does so, it's just not very user friendly. Granted it has some ugly spots particularly on the front cliff tiles that need to be revised (if I cared to do so), maybe one day I'll get around to it. I really don't ...

Re: [WIP] New Desert Tileset
The tag was meant as a joke and I apologize for offending you with it. :alt-8: http://forums.themanaworld.org/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=10824 I wanted brown rocks not grey ones Your still going to need some color variation, when you have something that is brown its not just the same shade of brown. It...

Re: [WIP] New Desert Tileset
You removed most of the color variation from the set, so now everything is essentially the same hue making visually boring and flat.
Here's a very, very, very crappy edit to demonstrate a better color choice

Re: The official server-move flamewar topic
Also, nobody is coming on .org to nominate rulesbreakers for GM, in the wrong forum section besides. I doubt that would be tolerated here, We would just move it to the correct section, and I'm sure known rule-breakers have been nominated before. When a single post (per person anyways) is considered...

Re: The official server-move flamewar topic
Almost every post Platyna has made on .org since the move has basically been dig at TMWC, and now you are surprised when members of the TMWC do the same on .Net?Nard wrote:If it is a play it is a very bad one. I can't see anything fair in it.Len wrote:Turnabout is fair play

Re: The official server-move flamewar topic
Again, you complete miss the point. The community *has* voted both in-game and on the forums When did it happen? I may have missed it. Anyway If you "read the thing" (and understood it) the user's agreement (and not a vote) should have been asked before the move, especially for a move out...

Re: The official server-move flamewar topic
A classic technic at work: attacking the critics instead of adressing the problems they exposed. Why address problems that aren't valid or adopt ideas that you believe are unnecessary/flawed just because someone keeps repeating them ad nauseum, while ignoring your arguments against such ideas? At s...

Re: The official server-move flamewar topic
@ o11c but to have a unifying activity, that whatever the result, would bind both .org and .net and reunite the community. .Net http://s24.postimg.org/y1qp0olf9/net.png .Org http://s21.postimg.org/j8mltgmmv/org.png http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQ5-BTdcqjk I don't really see what incentive exists ...

Re: The official server-move flamewar topic
and you brag about it, you should be ashamed. Having a fan base at all is something we should pride ourselves on (however we should not be satisfied), people play TMW even with the near limitless alternatives available to them. While I agree the game has many failings and I'm certainly all for poin...
