Len, the footsteps could be improved? Please try not to just make the shape of the foot in a single color, add some shading. Remember that the print has some depression on the start and end while the middle barely touches the soil, like this: http://static2.bareka.com/photos/medium/37093/footprint.j...

Len: I watched the video and the animation system is different than the current animations. I'm not saying is not possible, just that currently there isn't anything like that in the game. I see that the arms of the boss are made from cloned sprites, and these are animated kind like someone was pulli...

The maps are always stored "in the client", so to speak... It had happened to me too, it just that the connection lags and the server doesn't know if you are going to cross from a map to another. I don't know why is this, maybe the server connection is perfect and the lag is somewhere else...

Also found out that photo bucket (or something) is degrading some of my images...so its back to imageshack.. My bet is they're degrading because you're using JPG . Are you using JPG for the work-in-progress too? Really, don't use JPG (it's evil) and use PNG instead. Also, you can upload your files ...

Good idea :D , but I would think that it might be a bit of an eye sore. I like it though. Maybe if there was a transition, but that would be way too much work. What if there was an option to turn the changing colors on and off. On for beginners- or who needs them- and off for players that know what...

But where are the logs? Because I have killed three trees and they didn't drop anything... also I can't see any more living trees, I saw only three after looking for them in the map for half an hour. The first three appeared quickly nad then disappeared. How often do they spawn?

Some thoughts regarding the front walking:
- The feet doesn't look right to me... they don't change the perspective and the foot that is further from the viewer seems like at the same distance than the other foot. Try adding some darkening to the foot that goes further away.
