Re: [WIP] New Desert Tileset
when the player is behind the tree the shadow will be drawn on top of him. So what is the problem with that? Shadow on player is natural thing. When you are under the tree you are in shadow area. BTW Len, your help is most welcome (wanted) here :) Agreed to all of this. In fact the lack of shadows ...

Re: [WIP] Thermin Tilesets
The roof kinda basic, but seems to have a good metal texture, just needs some character. I'll be getting to that asap. Been kinda busy lately and just haven't had much time. RL work, new patch in wow, and a change of systems. Just got the desktop setup and I'm about to get everything else installed a...

Re: Is it me or the amount of players is going down lately?
LOL@Ali-G...Dude chill. This game is not in that big of a mess as you make it out to be. You tend to make mountains out of molehills. I highly doubt EVERY map has issues. Every graphic doesn't need work. There might be some typo's in scripts but if they work then it can't be that bad. Have you gone ...

Re: [WIP] Thermin Tilesets
I've been thinking of a roof type to fit the Thermin Area. I'm kinda thinking something along the lines of a tin roof. Here's a WIP concept for the roof.

Re: A few things I had lying around
I kinda did a finish and edit of that roof. Thought about using it on Thermin but it doesn't seem to fit. (What with TMW and all the REALLY steep roofs anyways? 45% aka 12/12 pitch is pretty steep. It makes sense for in snowy areas so that snow falls off and can't collect on the roof. Crush's woodla...

Re: [WIP] Thermin Tilesets
Still lots left to do but here's an update. The floor will most likely be completely re done and I will come up with some sort of stone floor as well. Messing around I've found that there's still somethings that are missing. Such as the top of the stairs need to have a connected railing. I started t...

Re: [WIP] Thermin Tilesets
Just a small update showing some of the progress. Could use some feedback besides what I've received via IRC. I'm kinda wondering about the brightness of the floor vrs the furniture. Right now I have it where the furniture is slightly lighter then the floor, but I've been told I should lighten the f...

Re: [WIP] Sunglasses for the game
I prefer the ones I did. It's not a "pure" black outline but it's like at 10 saturation. The lens are also "slightly" transparent. Also my highlight are as well and not just a pure white. I didn't do the death-frame highlight correctly. I was just attempting to show "how&quo...

Re: [WIP] Thermin Tilesets
I'm considering going with a different direction with this set. I've notice it's kinda mono in terms of color.
I'm purposing something along the lines of this.

Re: [WIP] Sunglasses for the game
Yhea I was thinking that back when I did the sunglasses I did. I should make them dyeable. Also I didn't do any highlight on them. I'll probably re-do them again.

Re: [WIP] Sunglasses for the game
Here's my version of them. Just a couple quick fixes that took a few secs. in gimp.
Avoid Pure black at all costs. A VERY dark Grey should be used instead. Don't be afraid of using semi-transparent pixels to add effect.

Re: [DIS] Castle Walls
Messing around I've started my own block wall set and and even tried to make my own grass tile. I'm really having problems getting the curved walls to look right and not so "jagged". I'm even more impressed with your set since I can't seem to be able to make something as nice. Here's a SS ...

Re: [WIP] Thermin Tilesets
I was considering using a modified version of this set. I really am not to fond of the current cave tileset for the thermin area. I also inmagine I'll be changeing lots of stuff after Iru's tutorial on textureing next Saturday.

Re: [REQ] Wolf Monster
Tameable combat pets would make a nice skill. It would really fit an archer class. (Think Hunter class in WOW,even thou that ability is in NO way something only found in that game and has been done way before it I'm sure.) It would be nice to be a permanent summons and not limited to a small time fr...
