Re: Mana/TMW Development Weekly Summary

dynamically linked linux binaries will fail to work if you have a different version of libraries such as libpng and libcurl
It's a matter of time, and I swore I would fix that.

Re: Tmw/StarWars

Hi again,

You should dress them in black and white (respectively) ;)
The half-naked Darth Vader is hilarious, though.

Re: Mana/TMW Development Weekly Summary

Hi everyone, Just in time for 2011, you can find a first release candidate for the 0.6.0 version based on my own fork: http://dev.themanaworld.org/downloads/mana-0.6.0-rc1-win32.exe Thanks in advance for your tests and Happy New Year!!!! EDIT: As requested by Jenalya, here is for linux users, the re...

Re: [WIP] New Desert Tileset

In fact, I just realized that this tileset lacks the water transition tiles... It would be good to have some, using the old water tiles. Changing this topic back to WIP. Speaking of this, I wondered whether deep (darker) water tiles would be a good addition. What do you think about it? Best regards,

Re: [WIP]: Woolen Barbarian Hat

Hi, Maybe, but the player sees the hat mainly in the inventory next to the other icons. So it's more important to have consistency with those than consistency with the map tiles. Just to add a technical note: The items.xml file is supporting a <floor> node giving the content team the ability to setu...

Yes, you should ask him: I'm sure he'll make one for you. :)

argul's signature XD

Hi, Here is at the time of writing, argul's signature: <Ali-G> wombat: I don't want to make you angry, but TMW is the definition of the "mess"... Now we finally know how that could happen: Speaking using the third person is an official sign of mental unstability, Bertram said. It seems I w...

Re: Forming a beta testing team

Hi, All client-related issues should have been moved to http://bugs.manasource.org long ago. You shouldn't hesitate to delete the remaining ones. Sorry Crush, but this is wrong. I left some of them, just because there were many comments, or felt not willing to move them over manasource at the time. ...

Re: Forming a beta testing team

Hi,
This has been fixed in my version of the server: http://gitorious.org/~o11c/tmw-eathena/ ... pp#line144
Could certain part of your server be backported to the mainline, or is it too heavy atm?

Best regards,

Re: Ways to sync the clients so the game will look better?

Well, if M. Bogus is talented in c++ and design, I guess the best would be to wait for his first proposal, which of course, will enter smoothly in the current design. And then he will start making a proof of his concept, changing stuff little by little, with cleanly made and described commits in hi...

Re: Forming a beta testing team

Hi,

Speaking of that, can I also ask the team to beta-test the next client release when it will come out?
(Since it's something like a week away from me being ready.)
