The map formats are the same, as we use the one from Tiled on both servers.

Re: Character Creation Error
Talking to the experts, this problem could be caused by using a username that already exists.
We are working on a fix for the client to show error messages when failing to create a new character, in the meantime please try a few different usernames and see if that works.

Re: Character Creation Error
Gender is based on account, and not character. I already discovered that when trying to recreate the condition of cinnamon by trying to create a female character on my male account. Perhaps the problem is related to female accounts, I will try creating a new account as a female and see if I can repr...

Re: Character Creation Error
What version of TMW are you using and what version of OSX?
I can't reproduce this problem with either 0.0.29 or 0.0.29.1 on OSX 10.5.7

Re: I cannot run version 29 with OSX 10.5.7
.29.1 has been available for Mac for a few days now, bjorn has hopefully edited the downloads page on sf so it will download it by default for Mac users.

Re: I'm pretty sure my client isn't supposed to do this..
It is unable to load the compressed map layers. Only thing I can suggest is upgrading zlib, but the best option is to update to 10.5 since 10.3.9 is grossly out of date, it would be like the Windows developers trying to support Windows 95.

Re: Should TMW use British English or American English?
I will always use British English, since American English was created mainly to remove the french influence of English, which seems like a complete waste of time to me.
Others can feel free to translate if needed, but all my work on the client and server will use British English.

You can run Windows, Linux, BSD and most other PC operating systems on a Mac, not just OS X.

If the user never enters his email address we cannot know what email address to send the key or password to. Email address is stored encrypted so you cant just look it up in the database.

Re: What are differences between panther and leopard?
The problem is with decompressing the layer data, not sure why this would not work in 10.3.9.
I will investigate, thanks for the report.

10.3.9 is extremely old and unsupported by Apple, it might be a driver bug.
