Possible replacement for the large stump in the woodland BTW, can someone please make the cloud shadows slightly larger stumpy.PNG rock.PNG i made some slight changes to the large rock Nice stump replacement. Re: [WIP]the woodland?????
Hmm... I see your point. A gardened one could easily be made by modifying the edges of your tree. Not really. Unless the styles are good match, recycling artworks may actually makes the game looks ripped off. For a gardened one, we can use something like this I have just created: http://i143.photob...

Re: [WIP]the woodland?????
Much better. Good job on the tileset. Can't wait to see these in-game. Btw, will these sprites completely replace our gardened trees? It may be worthwhile to keep the "gardened" trees that we used to have in the forest for the cities and for gardens, or residential areas. The gardened tre...

Re: [WIP]the woodland?????
I actually enjoyed the color variation in the screenshot, although I must admit that my trees standout too much (After your last revision, it should work) Hi Len, Welcome back. Yes, colour variation can make it more interesting, maybe we can have tree with different colour in the forest tileset? Af...

Re: [REQ] New Lava tiles
Can't we use the particle engine for lava and water? Moving highlights on a static lava and water background?

Sorry, I have misunderstood you. You meant the larger shade, right? How about this?Crush wrote:It's not just about color - Len shades a much larger area than you do.

Re: [WIP]the woodland?????
It doesn't blur, just that some pixels will be lost. But it does look ugly at 400%. I will see what I can do.Crush wrote:Automatic resizing won't do. It blurs the graphic too much.

Re: [WIP]the woodland?????
I could scale it and apply Len's colour scheme for leaves like this:
But because of the smaller size, some details are lost.
Btw, Len's trees are also bigger than 64x96.

Re: [WIP]the woodland?????
Hi, long time no see.
I just finished my last term in school, so I have time to draw more pictures now that I am graduating. Inspired from this thread, I have also created a tree.
Does it fit in with the mana world's style?

Re: [WIP] Christmas Town
Sorry, but the modified versions have not really improved. The perspective is still wrong. I have drawn a rough sketch for illustration:

Re: Non-Valkyrie Winged Helm Tiara
I think the design looks really cool. There is just one thing that bothers me, and that are the pure white wings. How about reducing their brightness a bit to avoid the pure white (#ffffff) portions and adding a tiny (tiny!) bit of color to them? Unless you want the wings to be recolorable, of cour...

Re: Non-Valkyrie Winged Helm Tiara
Saphy, I still prefer the tiara versions, to be honest, and I am curious whether they might not look better if they were thinner and less textured (less armoured and more elegant, so to speak). -- fate Sorry for the delay, I went back home last week to study for exam and didn't get to work on the t...
