Wiki files

It would be great if we could have the Wiki modified so that it allowed the upload of .ogg files. This would save me, and any others that work on music or sound effects from having to host files off site. I did the research and it looks like it would just take editing one file. Mediawiki FAQ Thanks-...

Log Head Sounds

It seemed to me that the log head needed some sounds, so here some are. First I made some sounds for when the log head takes damage. http://wiki.themanaworld.org/images/1/19/Log-head-hurt1.ogg http://wiki.themanaworld.org/images/9/95/Log-head-hurt2.ogg http://wiki.themanaworld.org/images/7/7c/Log-he...

When the scorpion is moving his tail section forward the rest of his body should probably shift back a little to counterbalance the movement. It may look cool too if his large pincher grabbed on, then he struck at you.
Just some suggestions-

Try turning off OpenGL in the options. Also check your tmw.log file for errors. Post it here as well and maybe we can help.

While it would be possible to record individual sounds for each guild you would have to get someone who could play them and was willing to do it. I think it would be unwise to let users record their own sounds, as in no time you would have every profanity conceivable being broadcasted all over the g...

It seems to me that a rare item should be exactly that, rare. If it is impossible to get then it isn't really rare, it's unobtainable. For some items that may be okay, i.e. hints, but for some of the other useful items it would be neat if they were a rare drop, maybe even from one of the higher leve...

Maybe changing physfs from 1.0.0 to 1.0.1 or the contrary could help?
I wish I had even the slightest clue how to do this. Alas I am no programmer, especially on the mac.
Sorry-

You'll get more help if you can post your tmw.log file, as well as what OS you are using.
Have you tried disabling Open GL?
It sounds like you are having a graphics problem, that would be the first thing to try.

I had the same problem. I manually went in and extracted the files from the downloads into the correct folders and was able to see the maps. For some reason i was still not able to see the scythe. Unfortunately to do this on a Mac you have to make hidden files visible. Not sure why the mac is having...

I have actually had the same problem with the Mac client. The windows client seems to work fine for me though. Perhaps it is a bug with that particular build.

I like to be able to accidently screw things up In that case I would recommend Windows ME, all you have to do is look at it funny and something gets screwed up. But seriously, if you haven't tried Ubuntu in a while it might be worth checking out. A lot of development has happened recently tha...

I'd recommend checking out Ubuntu Studio. It has all the latest free music and video production software, and the low latency kernel is good for gaming. There is a lot of hype around Ubuntu, so if you want to stand out it may not be great, but if you want a well supported and rapidly developing free...

Jobs are not part of TMW nor are there any plans to implement them on our current server. If you look around you will find that right now we are using the Aethna server which is what Ragnarok Online uses. The job option is just left over from that. The main goal of TMW right now is developing our ow...

Try deleting everything in the updates folder, and then reconnecting. If that doesn't work uninstall the program, delete the folder entirely and reinstall.
That should fix your problem.
