Re: Candor part 1
Excellent sound! What sound libraries are you using? Very good-quality reverb too.

Re: NIC
I like the style and the compositional approach. But the execution needs some attention in my opinion. The guitar chords sound like they've not been sampled well. I'd record this; actually sounds like the signal is clipping (meter will go into the red, past 0.0dB on your level indicator) somewhere. ...

Re: [REQ] Reaper Quest sfx
Nice :) Glad it's working out. Am going to do the scythe next but was wondering; as a ranged thrown weapon did you want the sound of something continuously cutting through the air? A sound that is (scripted in game) set up to stop once a target's been hit/missed? Or a single 'one-shot' sound...? If ...

Re: Track Submission
Hey all, Just a few tips to bear in mind for future tracks. You don't have to follow them, but it certainly helps me... 1 - Instrument selection - try to create a 'palette' of sounds before you begin. For TMW, unless they are very organic-sounding, many electronic elements aren't going to fit the fe...

Re: Chilling Enviroment
Hi yubabax116, This stuff is great! Really liking your sound. nmaligec's points made sense and lengthening the quiet parts is a cool idea to highlight the contrast. The only thing that might give you difficulty in the looping is the reverb tails on the atmospheric elements. Starting on the loud drum...

Re: Bird Sound Effects
Have played many games where the ambient audio didn't always have to be positional. It was a mix. Mario 64's castle grounds had the birds singing and gave the place a nice sense of space. I think the engine could also handle sound in space, but I can't remember specifics... I personally think it wou...

Re: [REQ] Reaper Quest sfx
Attaching the latest version of the Reaper battle music... a few sections that need changing. At the moment, I still need to address the abrupt change at around 35secs and again at 47secs (thinking about taking this 10second section out completely) but this will at least give you a better feel for t...

Re: [REQ] Reaper Quest sfx
Nice one. I think I prefer it lower pitched also. Layered 3 versions together. Two sounded very familar, but to give it that other-worldy sound, needed another 'voice'. So you kind of hear a shriek and a wail... Think it definitely sounds more monster-like, pitched down - good call! Here's the resul...

Re: [REQ] Reaper Quest sfx
Thanks guys; that feedback and the pictures helped somewhat. Let me know what you think of this one.
If you need the Brain Eater FX length altered, just let me know.
I'll work on the Reaper hurt sound before I continue with the music...
