dex and agi would govern the time required to cast and etc. Casting times... that is exactly what most attack spells don't have. Currently agi does affect the attack speed, but only with upmarmu does dex get used in TMW, that I know of, but yes I have said many times that more than one stat should ...

We do plan on revisiting upmarmu, actually. We needed a quick fix to make this spell less exploitative, which it did, but we also discussed other possible ways. We're currently waiting on an update to become live where con pots no longer affect magic and betsanc, once again has no attack delay effec...

Probably worth noting that once a monster dies, it is removed from memory, yes. That's also why it'll not respawn exactly where it died ─ it is not saving any metadata. From what I understood, I could remove asorm overnight and only mages use betsanc, but in rare cases you need betsanc on runners or to rush past certain maps. Zeroing attack power would work in both cases, same to zeroing dex and str, but neither solve the detsanc question. IDK why the want/need fo...

If you really want to purge detsanc, I think the only way to do it is to eliminate all spell penalties that are cast on others(they have no choice), which of course means something else has to change because everyone will always want a betsanc, which is why the speed penalty was included, I assume. ...

Yes, upmarmu is the issue here. we're trying to change game even more by conserving this OP spell. Attack upmarmu as I said in IRC. It is the only big issue ATM. As I said in IRC, I would love to see brawler skill made better to include def bonuses and am ok with speeding it up a bit more than speed...
