I like the potential allowed level of detail coming up out of blown up proportions. Blowing up the proportions of the legs to outright unnatural circumvents a lot for what is lost due to perspective.

It is a 8-way straight flat wall with texturing geometrywise.

You set it all up once and it takes care of itself for the most part. With a limited set of test users using the server even TMW-eA behaves in a somewhat civilized manner. Personally I think that eAthena should have a lower quality standard to keep the entry level for new artists low, while TMW Manaserv has a higher standard. This would allow newcomers to have a quicker sense of achievment by seeing their work online and allow them to be integrated into the developer...

You're not really close to the perspective you claim to go for there.

That aside, realistic proportions of body parts are not doable if we want expressive equipment in the game.

As IvanMorve pointed out, we are enforcing perspective consistency with TMW-CR projects. That also includes playerset and monsterset work. As for the visual style to be chosen here: going for a 90's console RPG pure pixel art animesque look would only add insult to injury here with our chosen tilese...

That'd be grossly out of perspective as is and if we want lower armor to be visible we probably have to blow legs out of proportion somehow. I am in any case very interested to see what comes out of it.
