There is no death penalty implemented yet, so nothing else happens.

Reaktor: You can either crop the whole image or the layer.
That'll work always. And selecting transparent areas should
be possible... Just try to select nothing (Strg+Shift+A) Then use
selection tool. (R) And also make sure you have no floating layers.
Those could be the problem.

Why is pressing ENTER, then starting to type so inconvenient?
Get used to it, really.
Thinking that you can't use a single key for a shortcut sounds horrible
for me. Even if you can still use Modifiers + Key.

If someone wants to spend time on implementing this, go ahead. Just keep in mind your contribution could've done more good for example in the server development. I would if I could. :P But not enough C++ skills... Did you mean writing an NPC that lets you choose different test maps? I could do that...

What I always wanted to propose: How about having kind of a "testing" area ingame, where maps of non-dev people are put? Say, there's an NPC that can warp you there and on every map, there is an NPC that tells the player to whom that current map belongs. So the Player knows whom to contact...

Could it be that the date in the wiki Roadmap is only a meant as a time limit for developers?

I always undertood it as a Release roadmap kinda.
And as Info for Players for next Release.
