the trunk has exactly the size of the trunks used for the bridge pilars and the sign. those trunks must come from somewhere. Hmm but I never saw a sign that is made of a complete tree trunk :D Oh and don't forget that the bark needs to be removed and most probably some of the outer regions of the t...

I must say that I don't like the Idea of never reaching a goal. Even with a no-cap system and without levels. Sounds a bit like Sysiphus to me :) And if you nearly got the 100% maybe some NPC master can give you the last bit so you reach the max. At least walking speed has a cap, no matter how caple...

Hmm yes, I think you're right. I was just thinking about a fighter, that uses a spell mid-fight to boost himself, heal or cast a minor attack spell. Such an easy and maybe often used spell should go along fine with a weaker monster. As the defender is maybe very skilled in using a shield. But a magi...

Wooooo, I REALLY have to agree with Bjorn that the tiles are way too saturated (at least for my monitor is use now :D ) I just switched monitor, and on my old CRT monitor it looked very nice and the color was absolutely ok. No thoughts about that. But now I switched to my LCD screen (a good one) and...

As I wrote in the original topic, shields are more rerouting tools :) Just as you said, you would end up with a broken arm. But if you use a shield to change the direction of the attack, all the power goes into air, just as if the attacker had missed you. Read that: http://forums.themanaworld.org/vi...

Thats what I thought too (some time ago), but it's not only Dodge%, it's also NotgettingHit% You can hide behind the shield and avoid getting hit. So physically the opponent just hits your shield and does no damage. Same as if he hits air :P System behind is that even a 0 damage hit is counted as a ...

Re: re
Imagine your in a cave with no way of being revived after you die, and your at 10 HP, but you see a easy monster that MAY drop a healing potion! If the monster had 0% chance to drop a healing item. Then that would majorly suck >.> Well but be honest: Would a Cake +20HP really help ? And we have mul...
