Re: TEST: New 0.6.0 client version testing time.
Hi cody, Late answer, yet, it's now done: I think it's a server bug. It happens also if you have no skills at all. If the range for the weapon is set to 0, then the actual range stays 2. If the range for the weapon is set higher, then the actual range is always one tile higher than it should be. I h...

Re: TEST: New 0.6.0 client version testing time.
The setzer range problem: Here is the server configuration, taken from here: https://github.com/themanaworld/tmwa-server-data/blob/master/world/map/db/item_db.txt #ID, Name, Label, Type, Price, Sell, Weight, ATK, DEF, Range, 571, Setzer, Setzer, 4, 20000, 8000, 900, 110, , 1, The range is indeed 1 ...

Re: TEST: New 0.6.0 client version testing time.
The movement on the new client feels still more wobbly than with Mana 0.5. One difference I noticed is the placement of the hair. I have combined two screenshots, with the same head position, but the hair and cat ears have moved. This does not happen with Mana 0.5. Hmm, when saying wobbly, are you ...

Re: TEST: New 0.6.0 client version testing time.
Hi cody, Thanks for all the reporting, and that latest one. My guess is that the server sends a new destination for the monster. But the monster gets stunned before it reaches another tile. The server sends as destination the tile where the monster already is, but for the client it looks like the mo...

Re: TEST: New 0.6.0 client version testing time.
Hi cody, I wish you had spoken earlier, thanks for the precise feedback. We miss your patches. :) - In the server dialog the space key does not invoke the connect anymore. It did work in Mana 0.5. - After client restart the debug window is reset to its default size. - If you have arrows equipped and...

Re: keyboard direction controls stuck on up and left
Hi drive55, To me, the symptoms appear to be more like if: 1. You had a (even virtual) joystick plugged in. This can happen on linux (I have another victim of this) so try to disable it in the setup config, in that case. 2. SDL sometimes happened (in an older version of the 1.2) to lock those direct...

Hi, As Crush said, the tA server will need to be modified, and we have practically nobody available for that atm. Plus, the c code present there needs a lot of love to actually make progress there. If anybody is willing to give help in this area, I do think there is an open position there. Best rega...

Re: Couldn't connect to remote host (Localhost) - ManaServ
Hi Crush,
This is my intention.
Yet, as I've written this doc in this format at the time I did it, I found it quicker to give it as is.
I shall put it into the wiki rather soon, but I wanted to get some feedback on it, first.
Best regards,

Hi Avalos,
visaboy had the same problem. Here is a document telling step by step how to do it (I made it for visaboy), but it's the same for you. Let's try to see whether it's complete enough to help you:
Good luck.

Hi,
I would like to also add that later porting the tool to cpp or any "easier" language can be done, especially when it's a common initiative from both groups.
I wonder what Invertika thinks about porting the tool to another language, though.
Best regards,
