oh,did you run ldconfig?. did you installed guichan trough a linux ditro build?(ebuild,deb). i got the same prob long time ago i needed to move all the guichan lib to /usr/lib instead of /usr/local/lib get us more info about which ditro are you using.and about guichan(version using,install path) thx...

Dexterity give you more "hit" to be able to touch monster dex+lvl=hit for melee weapon ,the dex act as a min-dmg like from 40-60 dmg if you have 10 dex you will meet 50-60 dmg and for bow dmg,yea it help,you dont need any str,else if you want to carry more stuff bow dmg+dex=dmg! oh and don...

im for 32x32 tile,bigger tile will increase detail and remove the need of a 2xsai-eagle engine,and 16x16 tile can be easely resized to 32x32 with one of this engine. i dont see zny problem with bigger tile
