Re: New Flar and Ingarv SFX Submissions
lowered 3db in the right speaker for effect and shaved and faded. I added no EQ this time or any other effect. I would keep it the same in both speakers, the reason being with it in one speaker it will make it sound like its coming from one direction more so then the other, and won't look right on ...

Re: New Flar and Ingarv SFX Submissions
The crackle isn't the right pitch, needs to be higher I think, also, make the crackle softer and the thunder louder. The thunder should over power at first then die down and you only then hear the crackle. Its a lot to put into just a few hundred milliseconds, you might have better luck with just th...

Re: New Flar and Ingarv SFX Submissions
The Ingrav, again though, was made from real thunder and electricity sounds .... it's hard to find up close Thunder samples that have a big 'crack' sound Where did you get the electricity sound from? It it was from a man made machine like a transformer or something, it will sound repetitive, and mo...

Re: New Flar and Ingarv SFX Submissions
flar sfx sounds great. Ingarv sfx is maybe half a second too long, and IMO should sound more like thunder then electricity crackling. If you want do make it sound like electricity, the sound is too consistence as it is, sounds more like gears spinning. Try adding a bit more chaos into it, ie adjust ...

Re: 005-4
As far as I know, this is just the sort of thing the testing server is used for. http://wiki.themanaworld.org/index.php/Testing_Server The content is pulled from the testing repo (tmwa-server-test). GM level 60 is open to any user, and commands like @item, @zeny, @charstats, @blvl etc are available...

Re: 005-4
The new battle has no level requirements really... so I need a large range of character levels. So if we make them all 80, the test will be screwed, if we make them all 20, the test is screwed.
Unless you can duplicate the levels from the main server, its pointless.

Re: 005-4
Well, honestly, I need to see how player can handle the battle, and if its too easy or too hard. So before I can finish it, like adding rewards to it, I need to balance it. So it has to be added before I can finish it. :) I thought that's what the test server is meant for. Trying out content and tw...

Re: 005-4
I disagree. Whenever stuff is put into game, it rarely changes... so I'd suggest to finish it first. Well, honestly, I need to see how player can handle the battle, and if its too easy or too hard. 005-4
Since I have a hard time timing IRC with wombat.
Yes wombat, you can enable the warp to 005-4. I will do the storyline for that map at a later time.

Re: Time to party!
That's exactly why we decided to allow people to be in as many guilds as they want on the new server Manaserv. (Our definition of "party" and "guild" is that a party is an ad-hoc group formed for usually just one play session, while a guild is a more permanent social circle). Wh...

Wish granted, but then you realized Apple's closed minded licenses prevents you from running any of the applications and programs you want.

Re: the ND (maybe the solution for a tmw portable client)
Maybe a different client created from the main would be possible. But the main client would need to be stripped down BIG time for it to work. The system requirement for Mana is beyond the ability of this machine. But it is possible, strip features and optimize enough it will work. Like key bindings,...

Interesting project... will it have networking abilities? That would be a key requirement for TMW
