Re: SNOW!

nice. the middle of the ligtning could be a little lighter, but as you already said that's easily changed, and overall i really like it.
i just hope the engine's gonna support alpha transparency by the time it gets added, since it looks a little weird if seen against a dark background.

they might have a similar codebase, yet there -are- differences. and maybe the new kde draws a little more resources than the older version, too...
c'mon, 75fps isn't bad, remember that you'd only need about 10 fps to create the illusion of motion ^_^

now there 's a good idea :D something remotely similar crossed my mind earlier, how about the npcs, dependion on the region, had their own names for certain items? like, in the desert it's called "quecoat'l juice", in the icy plains something like "exotic green liquid" (but in th...

some (i don't remember which) mmorpg had an "unlock pvp" feature... you started off immune, and once you started pvp'in you couldn't go back. pvp'ers of couse couldn't attack non-pvp'ers. how about adding something similar as another "protection layer"? anyways, this thread looks...

yeah, whatever... if we didn't have had to back up moussolini, we'd probably have won, and he would speak it too  anyways, the above's just another lame dependency problem, not really interesting to anyone but the poster. so, who cares. "gui/../sound.h:27:23: Fehler: SDL_mixer.h: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden"
check mal, ob die sdl-quellen denn auch im richtigen verzeichnis stecken; oder pass eben die pfadangaben in den tmw-quellen an. die restlichen zwei fehler sollten damit dann auch beseitigt sein.

"A few of us newbies collect as much GP as we can to pay this mercenary" ...and can only come up with about 2000gp, so he just leaves :P - newbies tend to be a little low on cash. you want anarchy, go play quake; you want to swear, go play cs. i think rules are neccessary (as long as you d...
